Home Sweet Home!
Remember the great fish tank flood from a few weeks ago? For those coming late in the game, our tropical fish tank suddenly cracked and we ended up having to house our fish in a plastic storage tub for a few weeks until our new tank was ready to be picked up from the aquarium shop.
They have been in their new tank for a few weeks now but for a little while our catfish seemed extremely withdrawn and I was a bit worried that the whole experience had stressed him out way too much. It seems he’s since gotten used to his new home – he’s even started poking his head out long enough to get a decent photo.

Is he as big as he looks in the pic Kay?

At the moment, he’s around 6-8 inches long, nose to tail. We did have another log for him to live in when we first got him (he was barely an inch long) but he outgrew it. The one he is in now will accommodate him even if he doubles in size in years to come.
